A Pivotal Year

Algebra 1 changes the way students think about math.

It's the first course where math becomes abstract — where numbers give way to variables, and arithmetic gives way to reasoning. Most students do best when they walk in already comfortable with the fundamentals.

Without that foundation, it's common for students to feel unsteady with equations, integers, fractions, expressions, and graphing right from the first week. That's not a reflection of ability — it's a matter of preparation.

Shaky footing with integers, fractions, and order of operations
Uncertainty translating word problems into equations
Unfamiliarity with new vocabulary — variables, expressions, functions
Hesitation that builds quietly, week after week

The good news: a few focused weeks of the right instruction can change the entire trajectory of the year.

Our Promise

A confident, prepared start to Algebra 1.

Build Real Confidence

Students walk in already comfortable with the language and logic of algebra — not seeing it for the first time.

Strengthen the Foundation

Essential pre-algebra skills are reviewed and reinforced, closing the gaps that tend to compound later.

Practice with Purpose

Guided equation-solving and problem-solving habits are built through live, structured, small-group practice.

Curriculum

What students will work on.

Four weeks of live instruction built around the specific skills that make the first month of Algebra 1 either smooth or stressful.

Integer operations
Fractions and decimals
Order of operations
Expressions and equations
One-step and multi-step equations
Variables and algebraic thinking
Graphing basics
Word problem strategies
Math confidence and study habits
